My name is Aimee Duff and I am the creator of this website. I have a bit of an obsession with animals and their cuteness (maybe more than a bit :P) so what better way to show that then to create a website dedicated specifically to animals! Plus, I’m a sucker for a happy ending (:

For far too long, animals in shelters or less fortunate have been seen as inferior, when in actual fact, I believe they make some of the best pets around. This website is dedicated to showing off all your rescued pets in all their deserved glory, so go ahead and show them off, spread the word and let’s change the perception of rescued animals together!

Another passion of mine is writing and so with the help of this website, and some of you guys, I’m written a book, Don’t Shop, Adopt! South Canterbury which is  dedicated to rescue pets and their stories. This was  something completely different for me because the last book I published was teen fiction. However, I absolutely loved the challenge and who doesn’t want to work with animals? (:

So without talking about myself any further, go ahead and submit your story, buy a copy of Don’t Shop, Adopt, show off your animal, and some of you have seen your cute little critters on the shelves in shops around New Zealand!
