Hi, my name is Kim and I’m from Masterton in the Wairarapa. Our SPCA closed down in May of this year…….but I have rehomed and rescued animals since I was a child….However, this isn’t about me, its about Buddy. Buddy is a Ridgeback cross who came to me 6 months ago,No matter how long it takes I never give up on any animal.Anyway, Buddy was given up as the landlord said no dogs….a common scenario sadly :(. He came from a loving home with 5 special needs children to our loud home with another dog (Cookie) and 3 cats (Guiness aka Fat Bastard, Stella and Molly) He’s done a ton of growing in the time that he’s been here! 3 times the size he was! I don’t usually have dogs for 6 months or more…This young man is a typical teenage boy! Eats lots, had tons of energy and had found himself a couple of bad habits. However as you can see, he’s simply gorgeous. If you know someone who would like to be Buddy’s forever family please share his story. There is a $180 adoption fee, however this is to cover part of my costs of desexing and vaccinating him, also monthly flea and worm treatments
