Over the last few months I have been sponsoring a gorgeous cat called Eeny.

Eeny is an eight month old rescue cat who currently resides at the Animal Rescue Network shelter in Dunedin.

As Eeny was formerly a wild cat she has a very timid nature about her around people. However, in the last couple of months, with the help of the wonderful staff at the Animal Rescue Network Eeny has come a very long way.

Eeny once upon a time would not come near people at all but now she is comfortable being in the same room as people as well as feels comfortable to play with toys while being photographed.

Unfortunately it seems as though Eeny will never be able to be a family cat because of her very shy nature. However, the Animal Rescue Network and I both refuse to give up on her because with her wild nature behind her we think she would make a great barn cat.

Eeny really deserves a place she can call home but also a place where she feels she can be herself. We really hope she can find someone who will love her for her and give her a forever home.
