A Border Collie, energetic, bouncy and full of intelligence. Jess aged 1, was taken from people in a town, because she was mistreated, skinny and malnourished. Another family tried to rehome her but she barked continuously, and neighbours complained. The next potential owner bonded with her but she was going to uni and could not keep her. Finally, I agreed to take Jess. She was timid, scared of loud noises, chased vehicles and often ran across the paddocks. Her social skills were poor, and her mental state seemed like she was a lost dog. With quality time, regular walks, swims and lots of attention, Jess, now 4, is a trusting and friendly pet. A great guard dog, smart and loving, Jess is living a happy life.

  1. Adorable photo!! Jess is gorgeous (: Thank you for sharing Jess’s story, I’m so pleased she got her happy ending (:

    1. Thanks Aimee, yes Jess is a beautiful dog, I am so glad that I took her on. My old black Labrador of twelve years, had to be put down a couple of years back, so having this young dog was a good replacement.
